Please wear long hair up and off of your shoulders.

  • Due to studio size and to keep the focus on the fitting, please limit guests to one other person over age 12. My studio includes equipment and tools that can be dangerous to young children.

    My home is smoke-free.

I have two small dogs, however they are kept out of the studio and are crated on a separate floor during fittings.

  • All brides will require a first and a final fitting to get the perfect fit. Some alterations will need additional fittings before the final fitting, especially in cases of lace that needs to be removed and replaced to access seams, large resizes, or customizations such as making and adding sleeves. These gowns may require 3-5 fittings total. We will map out your alterations timeline at your first fitting and schedule additional fittings at that time!

  • Just like the fit of your gown, the cost of your alterations is custom as well! Price depends on the style and construction of your gown and what alterations it needs for the perfect fit.

A good general range to plan for is $500-900 for standard alterations (bodice take-in, straps shortened, bra cups added, hem, and bustle). Complicated structure, lace and beading covering seams, lace trim hems, horsehair braid hems, adding sleeves, redesigning necklines, and more will add to the cost.

  • Yes! We frequently customize gowns, including design and adding sleeves, changing necklines, switching zipper backs to corsets, sewing on sashes and belts, adding or closing slits, adding linings, and many more.

Customization options depend on the design of your gown and may require you to order extra fabric and trim from the manufacturer. Please discuss your vision with your bridal shop consultant so they can help you get the materials you need! I am always happy to consult with you on your ideas as well.
